PPF Networks

Legal

Privacy Policy

How we handle personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

This policy explains how PPF Networks (Pty) Ltd (“PPF Networks”, “we”) handles personal information collected through this website. It is a plain-language summary and should be read together with any notice shown when you submit a form.

Who is responsible

PPF Networks is the responsible party for personal information you give us through this website. You can contact us about privacy at enquiries@ppfnetworks.co.za.

What we collect

  • Details you submit in our forms: name, email address, optional phone number and organisation, and the information you choose to include about your project, partnership or enquiry.
  • Basic technical and usage information, such as pages visited, where analytics are enabled.

Please do not include sensitive personal information, banking details or identity numbers in your enquiry.

Two separate purposes: responding and marketing

We keep these apart on purpose.

  • Responding to your enquiry. When you contact us, we use your details to read your message, reply to you and discuss the matter you raised. This is necessary to deal with your request. You acknowledge this when you submit a form.
  • Marketing and updates. We will only send you newsletters or promotional messages if you opt in using the separate, optional tick-box on our forms, which is never pre-ticked. Choosing not to opt in does not affect how we handle your enquiry. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying to a message or emailing us.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information. We may use service providers that help us run the website, store data or send email, and they may only process information on our instructions. Where information is processed outside South Africa, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected as POPIA requires.

Keeping it safe and how long we keep it

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. We keep enquiry information only for as long as needed to deal with it and for legitimate business and legal record-keeping, and then delete or de-identify it.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask us to confirm whether we hold your personal information, to access, correct or delete it, and to object to its processing. Email enquiries@ppfnetworks.co.za and we will respond. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) if you believe your information has been mishandled.

Cookies and analytics

We may use analytics to understand how the website is used so we can improve it. We do not use analytics data to identify you personally.

Changes

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The current version is always published on this page.
